On day one, participants learned about the Hearing Healthcare Alliance and defined the focus points of the course by conducting a needs assessment. In the following three consecutive days they practiced new rehabilitation strategies that will improve the speech and language skills of people using hearing devices in Pakistan. Two lectures were given by Shahid Ali and Noor-ul-ain Asim who had completed the first PCHR. This was a wonderful validation of the programme’s training-of-trainers approach. The AG Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language has approved the PCHR for up to 68 LSLS CEUs.
