Newborn Hearing Screening for All

In 2022 the Hearing Healthcare Alliance (HHA) started a pilot project for universal Newborn Hearing Screening (NHS) at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal. Thanks to a collaboration with the South Tyrolean “World Doctors” a similar programme could be established in Dulikhel Hospital. In a recent meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Health of Nepal we could discuss the outcomes and learnings of the NHS projects.
