New-born hearing screening is helping children in Pakistan get the diagnoses they need. From now on the Bahria International Hospital Lahore, the Bahria Orchard Hospital Lahore as well as the Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences will offer screenings and diagnostic tests to new-borns. The aim of this program is to offer hearing screening to as many new-borns as possible to provide good data on rates of hearing impairment and set the identified children on a path to rehabilitation.
